• Articulation Screening: prorated for time spent, typically 45-60 minutes; no written report $105-140.
  • Language Screening: prorated for time spent, typically 60 minutes; no written report $140.

If a comprehensive evaluation is scheduled after conducting a screening, your screening fee will be deducted from the evaluation fee. No written report is provided with a screening, as it is an informal observation/consultation.

FYI: If you plan to seek insurance reimbursement, you will need to have a formal evaluation (see below) completed instead of a screening. Evaluations provide a report you would need to submit to your insurance company.

Insurance:

This is a private pay practice. I am not an "in-network" provider for any insurance company. I am considered an "out-of-network provider". If you plan to seek insurance reimbursement for any services rendered, you should check with your insurer as to their exclusions and requirements. Insurance companies often list speech therapy as a reimbursable service, but frequently will not provide coverage. For those who have Health Savings Accounts (HSA), you may get reimbursement through your HSA, or use your HSA credit/debit card as payment.

For more information, you can visit ASHA's Health Insurance Page.

FYI: If you plan to seek reimbursement from your insurance company for an evaluation, they typically require you obtain a written referral from your child’s primary physician before the evaluation.

Payment:

Payment can be made in the following forms: cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express debit and credit cards. Receipts are provided upon request.

Checks are to be made payable to “Bilingual Speech and Language Services, LLC” and are payable at the conclusion of each session. If a child attends more than one session per week, payment may be made during the last session of the week for all the sessions attended that week.

This is a boutique private practice with limited enrollment and a billing structure that allows your child to be the primary focus. Services are more personalized and attentive, allowing for in-depth planning/consultation before and after sessions. This increased concentration of services leads to better therapy outcomes in less time.
